最近我喜欢上了这首歌。一首由艾薇儿翻唱的John Lennon遗作。

John Lennon 是英国早前的著名团体 Beatles 披头四的创办者，同时也是成员之一。非常有才华的他，曾经为乐坛创作了无数的好歌，也荣获无数的奖项。然而，很不幸的，在 1980 年，年仅四十的 John Lennon 被一位疯狂的男歌迷枪杀了五枪，并且从此与世长辞。（摘自 Wikipedia）

其实像我生于八十年代的年轻人，都很少会认识六七十年代的老歌手。我会喜欢他们的歌，应该都是受妈妈影响。妈妈是受英文教育的，更本听不懂中文，所以更别说会听中文歌咯。还记得小时候，妈妈曾经告诉我，少女时她最爱的就是 Beatles了，因为他们很帅，很会唱歌啊！哈哈，原来妈妈年代的人也和我们一样的哦，都有自己崇拜的歌星明星偶像。

我好想越扯越远了。言归正题，我真正听过的 Beatles 歌曲只有几首，如 “Let it be”，“Please, Mr Postman” 和 “Hey Jude”，都是好听的歌！

我喜欢这首歌，因为它不像现代的流行歌曲，充满了浓厚的商业味道。简单朴素的音乐旋律，非常动听，歌词内容又很有意思。Imagine 是收录在 Instant Karma! (We All Shine On)专辑里的其中一首歌。

一首鼓励大家和平相处，不分你我、国界、种族及宗教信仰。想像着大家都能活在没有纷争、没有贪婪欲望及一起享有世界一切的美好日子。Avril Lavigne 和John Lennon 的版本都各有独特风格，两个版本都很好听。不过，我会较喜欢 Avril 的演绎。（嘿嘿，她是我的偶像嘛！）
